Here is my Lotus flower made entirely out of spoons as you see. I cut the handles off of the spoons, individually painted each spoon scoop with acrylic paint, and then hot glued them together to form this flower. I chose to give it the ombre effect from the center out because I think it highlights the detail and effort that was put into this project. (Also because I think it looks a lot better than just painting them all one color). The lily pad is one dimensional because I wanted the flower to have a 3D look, as if it were coming up from out of the water.
